Physical Description: Sam is six foot four inches tall with long brown hair and hazel eyes. His clothing is very thrift store chic when he's not in the office and he wears at least three layers at a time. because that way he always has something clean to wear. He prefers tailored suits when he can afford them since they fit him better.
General Demeanor/Presence: Sam is more graceful then his height and weight would suggest. He is more likely to use a gun then his fists but when he has to fight hand to hand he is just as fluid in motion as he is when walking and talking.
Pertinent Medical Information: Other than a fear of clowns, Sam is very healthy with no allergies and a few hunting related scars.

History/World: Sam is the youngest child of John and Mary Winchester. When Sam is six months old his mother dies in a strange fire that sends John on the road with Sam and his older brother Dean. John is convinced a demon killed Mary and he raises his sons to fight things like demons, vampires and witches. It's a life being raised by his brother and living out of hotels and their car. In 2004, Sam decides he's had enough and applies to Ivy University in Gotham.

When he reveals his plans to his father and brother, John explodes at Sam demands he choose between his family and a normal life. Sam chooses a normal life and makes top grades. There is one moment where his brother hunts him down and asks him to return to the hunting life to help their father. Sam agrees to rejoin Dean only up to finding their father, but after John's death Sam stays for two more years finally helping his brother kill the demon that killed Mary, dying and being brought back to life when Dean makes a deal with a crossroads demon.

Sam does everything he can to save his brother over the next year only to watch in horror as Dean is dragged to Hell. He runs himself ragged trying to get his brother out stopping short of joining up with a demon himself. Sam had promised himself he would never go that far as he had seen his brother and a good friend walk that path and he refused to join them. He turns his back completely on the hunter life and returns to college making top grades there and in law school. Then Sam Winchester completely vanishes as if he never existed.

In 2012, Sam Walton joins the Starling City DA's office and is content to keep his head down and his mouth shut. While rumors of the Hood do make his ears burn, Sam has no desire to get back into the hero game himself. That part of his life is done and over with and nothing and no one can drag him back in again.

The night of the Undertaking, however, Sam gets stuck in the Glades after visiting a witness and sees the Hood for himself as he helps save trapped people with Sam. This event intensified Sam's need to do more, but he knows if he uses his more "physical" skill set it could risk his job.Six months later, a hacker known as the Actuary appears to be causing trouble. But when people start digging they realize the Actuary actually is acting as a modern day Robin Hood, using the data and money they are stealing to help those in need.

Still hacking is hacking and Sam may be moving closer and closer into the Arrow/Hood orbit for all the wrong reasons and it may be his hunter skills may be needed in the future normal life or no.

Personality:

Sam is a typical younger sibling, stubborn, passionate and fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He would do anything for his older brother Dean, in particular, and he knows Dean would do the same. Leaving Dean behind hurt Sam deeply but he felt like he'd was forced to choose between what was best for himself and what was best for his family. He went back thought willing to help when Dean asked and to stay until he had done everything he could to save his brother to the point of almost killing himself before he gave up and went back to college. He has a massive sense of survivors guilt over this to the point of technologically and physically burying anything Winchester related other than a few family photos in order to forget.

Sam is very adaptable moving from a hunt to college classes with a smile and a nod. He keeps to himself when alone and tries not to socialize because if he gets close to people they get hurt. Even once he becomes a lawyer, Sam keeps more to himself then most. He wants to keep his past in the past and keeping to himself helps him accomplish that goal. It's not that Sam can't make friends if he wants to it's just he's afraid he'll admit to something that could get his friends hurt or lose him his job. He loves helping people without killing things and he doesn't want to lose his loose grasp on a normal life that he has now. He also doesn't want to risk losing anyone the way he lost his entire family, he isn't sure he could stand that much hurt anymore.

While Sam is courageous, intelligent and charming, he does not see his good qualities and refuses to believe anyone who tells him differently.. He calls himself a freak, tainted and unworthy of the notice of both friends and enemies. He hunches over whenever he meets anyone because he believes his height frightens and intimidates them. But while he doesn't think much of himself Sam is always ready and willing to help those who need it. Having struggled for everything that he now has, Sam understands what it means to have even one person in your corner and when he can Sam tries to be that person.

He's not really big on the whole "hero with a mask" idea given that he knows what a lonely life that is and while he understands the whole idea of free will and choice, he doesn't like the idea of someone putting innocent lives at risk just to fight for a brunch of bricks and mortar.. Seeing the Hood actually helping people is the wake up call Sam needs to be reminded there are other ways of fighting and not all of them require punches to the face.

Specialist skills: Items: Sam will be coming in with his cell phone, which he has tooled to help him with his hacking and his wallet with his current id of Sam Walton, twenty bucks and a couple of his business cards.

Personality:

Sam is an awkward in his own skin type who hides behind a mask of confidence. He is passionate about helping the downtrodden often taking the cases no one else in the DA's office will take. He's loyal and passionate, but extremely secretive. Because of his past Sam is afraid people will judge him or at the worst call him a murderer without trying to understanding that he isn't that man anymore.

Sam does have a temper but it is the slow burning type. It takes a lot for him to explode but when he does it's epic. He rages like a mad man and will often get into fights to just blow off the emotional steam it can leave behind. Sam doesn't like how he feels when he explodes so he does everything he can to stay calm so that he doesn't hurt himself or someone else.

His biggest weakness is his low self worth, if Sam thinks people dislike him, he hates himself even more. He chooses to see himself as a big dumb giant who can't do anything right, feels each and every one of his failures deep in his heart. He carries them like other people carry their successes. He never forgets and he has yet to forgive himself. This makes it difficult for Sam to make decisions and it often takes him long time to figure out what the right thing to do is and he hates himself just a little bit more.

Sam loves his family, but he doesn't not love what they do. He knows part of the reason he and his brother are distant is because Sam has chosen to live a different life. But Sam knows it's important. to be there when his brother might need him most so he's done his best to keep the lines of communication open if Dean wants to use them. Family in all it's forms is the most important thing a Winchester has.
